Originally purchased this gown RIGHT when I got engaged, so I didn’t take the time to try on other styles and find something that was truly for me. I bought it at a David’s Bridal store for $800, but they didn’t have my size and ordered it for me. I picked it up a month later. The dress is a size 10, is unaltered and never worn (except for trying on at home.) The lace detail and beading add a hint of vintage elegance to a modern style. The champagne and ivory color is beautiful and complimented my skin tone and didn’t make me look washed out. This trumpet style dress has the element of a mermaid dress in which it gently hugs the body, but has the forgiveness of an A-line. Certainly the most flattering option.
